We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior Quantity Surveyor. In this role, you will work closely with senior QS to assist in project costing and asset management.

Responsibilities:

1. Measurement and Estimation: Assist in the accurate measurement of quantities and preparation of cost estimates for materials, labor, and other project-related expenses.
2. Cost Control: Support in monitoring project costs, identifying potential overruns, and proposing cost-effective solutions to ensure projects stay within budget.
3. Tendering: Assist in the preparation of tender documents, including bills of quantities, and participate in the tendering process by evaluating contractor bids.
4. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all project-related documentation, including contracts, variations, and other relevant paperwork.
5. Reporting: Generate regular reports on project costs, variations, and financial forecasts for review by senior Quantity Surveyors and project management.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., Excel, measurement software).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when necessary.
• Eagerness to learn and develop within the role.
