We looking for freelancer for Bookkeeping
This role is work from home, not customer facing, and has flexible schedule. It is important to note that some tasks are time sensitive and must be cleared within a reasonable timeline or during month end closing period.
Mandatory Requirement for Freelance Accountant/ Bookkeepers
1. Ability to close full set of account (AP, Bank Reconciliation, Journal Entries)
2. Must possess knowledge of Xero or Quickbook Online (QBO). Applicants with no Xero or QBO experiences can apply for interview first, attend a 10 hours online training and get certified. We offer RM300 sign up bonus if you are Xero and QBO certified.
3. Our rate for freelance accountant is RM20 per hour.

We are recruiting the following roles as well:
1. Xero Migration Experts (Experienced in creating invoice template, system migration)
2. Financial Statement with notes Preparer (Accountants with audit experience only. No prior Xero or Quickbooks online experience is required)
3. Tax agents with ex-Singapore experience.
4. The above positions’ rates will be higher, and it could be based on per hour or per project basis.
Suitable for stay home parents looking to re-enter the market or full timer seeking freelance weekend job. Non-Malaysian, retirees or students are welcomed to apply. LCCI, ACCA, Bachelor of Accountancy, Auditors, Accountant, Account Executive, Account Assistant are welcomed.
Open to all state due to WFH job nature. Applicant should own a laptop/ computer with decent internet access. Laptop can be provided for applicants from Penang.
Jobs are assigned by respective client projects, and each client projects can range from 1 day per month to 1 day per week to a few days per week. Candidate should state their availability in the application (ie, free during weekend, or seeking part time weekday normal hours, etc) for us to match client project to you.

Frequently Asked Questions:
1. Applicant must have a WORKING computer with decent internet access. If you are using harddisk and your laptop is slow, a reformat is recommend as a temporary solution. I can provide a guide for you to reformat. Solid state disk is a permanent solution, and 8GB of ram is recommended. We work remotely only, and thus a decent internet access is a must.
2. Freelance Accountant must know Xero or QBO.
For Freelance Accountant without Xero or QBO experiences, we can interview first. After the interview, please get yourself certified with (a) Certified Xero Advisor or (b) Quickbooks Online Accountant Certified Proadvisor first prior to client assignment. This certification will involve about 10 hours of online training, and the certification will be tagged to your personal name.
We offer RM300 sign up bonus if (a) you obtain the certification and (b) works with us for at least 3 months. The sign up bonus is RM100 if you work with us for 1 or 2 months
3. Freelance Accountant with existing certified Xero advisor/ QBOA Certified Proadvisor qualifies for the sign up bonus.

4. Freelance Accountant with Xero/ QBO experience can apply for the job. However, there will be no sign up bonus if you do not have the certification.
5. Quickbooks experience: Do you have Quickbooks Online (QBO) or Quickbooks Desktop version experience? We work with QBO only, and need one with QBO experiences only, as QB desktop is different from QBO.
