Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- To convert PR to Purchase Order for fabrication works
- To conduct RFQ and comparison on quotes received
- To liaise and negotiate for best prices and lead time
- To ensure timely delivery
- To liaise with QA for quality issues
- To liaise with Engineering and Project Team on scope of work
- To update reports e.g. cost savings/MPQP/QM Lots etc
REQUIREMENTS :
- The candidate should have experience of a buyer, have technical knowledge and exposure to fabrication. Able to understand technical drawings, specifications, types of steel material etc.
- Diploma in any technical field
- From any of these background :- a) Welding b) Coating c) Machining
- Candidate should be able to communicate and write in English
- Should be aggressive and objective driven
- Should possess a driving license
