Guardian - Retail Management Trainee
Job Description:
GCH Retail (M) Sdn Bhd is Malaysia’s leading retailer. Founded over 60 years ago, and acquired by the Dairy Farm Group in 1999. GCH Retail consists of over 90 Giant Hypermarkets, superstores and supermarkets, over 300 Guardian pharmacy, health and beauty stores and more than 20 Cold Storage supermarkets.
The company hires more than 13,000 employees and continues to lead the retail industry in Malaysia. We are now seeking ambitious individuals to join our highly motivated management team.
The objective of this position is to provide relevant work exposure for the candidate to assume a future role in Management for our organization.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma holder in any discipline or possess at least 1 – 2 years’ of retail experience.
- Proactive, open-minded and self-motivated with a high sense of urgency and responsibility.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Mobile and willing to relocate within Malaysia.
- Able to work long hours and irregular hours, i.e. public holidays and shift work.
- Fresh graduates are encourage to apply and training will be provided.
- Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
